The perfect surf playground if you are staying in Baleal, Prainha is a fantastic surf break for beginners alike. The lefthander usually breaks close to the island and rolls throughout till the middle of the beach. If you get a big swell from the north and a gentle breeze from the south you can get nice right-handers from the middle of the beach that will delight any regular footer.

If the swell is a bit small you will always find some fun waves in Lagide, just around the corner on the same beach further north, you can't miss it.
