We are located at the perfect spot, opposite the main beach where you can spend your days learning how to surf or just plain relaxing. Steps away from our property, you'll find a few beachfront surf cafes that offer seemingly endless views along the beautiful bay, seafood delights and great coffee after your morning surf. There's also a bank, bars and supermarket, all conveniently located nearby in Peniche and Baleal centres.

The Salty Pelican has a rooftop terrace with amazing sea and surf views, where you can lounge about all day in our comfy sun loungers and outdoor dining. Enjoy a good book or just relax with a refreshing sangria and good tasty food from our rooftop menu. In the evenings the rooftop terrace is a good place to socialise after an active day of sun and surf with some relaxing music and the most magical sunsets over the sea.

Location

We can organise private airport transfers that take just 35min to reach The Salty Pelican, the price is €100 one way or €190 return (includes up to 4 persons per car). It is also an easy bus ride via Lisbon to Peniche takes approximately 85 minutes. When you choose to arrive by bus to Peniche, we are located just 3 minutes taxi or bus from the main bus station.
